Enrolment Zone
From Term One 2023, Kelston Intermediate will be operating under a zoning system which will create a boundary where some addresses in our local area may be deemed in zone or out of zone. A map of the zoning area and a list of addresses that will be deemed in zone according to the new boundary can be found below.
Families are encouraged to note the following dates and check the information below about zoning.
In Zone Families: Please start enrolling from Thursday August 25th and feel free to do so sooner.
Out of Zone Families: Please start enrolling from Thursday September 1st and feel free to do so sooner. Out of zone enrolments will close by Thursday September 15th at 12pm.
If we have a large number of enrolments we will move to a priority system for enrolments based on the following:
First Priority will be given to students who have been accepted for enrolment in the following special programmes run by the school and approved by the Secretary for Education.

Ulimasao Samoan Bilingual Unit
Fakatoukatea Tongan Bilingual unit
Second Priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students.
Third Priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students.
Fourth Priority will be given to any applicant who is a child of a former student of the school.
Fifth Priority will be given to any applicant who is either a child of an employee of the board of the school or a child of a member of the board of the school.
Sixth Priority will be given to all other applicants.
